Joe Gibbs Racing announced on Thursday afternoon that it has parted ways with NASCAR Monster Energy Cup driver Erik Jones. According to multiple reports, he will be replaced by young gun Christopher Bell.

JGR doesn’t mention who is going into the 20 car but obviously it is now open for Christopher Bell, whose deal with Toyota requires a Cup ride for 2021-22 or else he could leave the manufacturer.
