Weather set in around lap 52 halting the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. A persistent mist set in over the track outside of Fort Worth stopping the NASCAR Cup Series event. NASCAR has officially postponed the event to 9AM CST tomorrow (Monday) with race coverage on NBCSN and PRN.

Clint Bowyer leads with Jimmie Johnson running second at the time of the delay. The highest running playoff contender is Joey Logano. He runs in fourth at the time of the stoppage. By virtue of his victory last weekend in Kansas, Logano is locked into the Championship 4 at Pheonix.

After starting in the back of the field for the second straight week, Martin Truex, Jr. is now running fifth. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver started at the rear of the field due to fail pre-race inspection. Playoff board leader, Kevin Harvick got into the wall around lap 29. Currently, Harvick is running 36th following the accident.
