On Friday night at All American Speedway, Gio Scelzi sped off on Taylor Gray with a closing-lap pass to earn his first win in the series.
After the race, Gray sent out a tweet saying, “We do still gotta race Sunday. All business.”

Now, after Sunday, Gray can say he has captured his first win as well.
The 15-year old driver ran a partial ARCA schedule with DGR-Crosley in 2020, racing in 21 events across the ARCA Menards Series as well as the East and West regional tours.
He captured 11 top-five finishes in the 20 races he ran ahead of Sunday’s event at Kern County Raceway.
In Race 21, he captured his first win.
Gray will have to wait a bit to be able to run on the larger tracks that the main series runs in, but Sunday’s result is certainly one to see.
In the points race for the ARCA West tour, Jessie Love again saw a less-than-optimal finish come his way after mid-race struggles.
He crossed the line on Sunday in eighth, although, he maintained his lead on his biggest competition in Blaine Perkins in the Sunshine Ford No. 9.
Perkins had an opportunity to gain further ground in the standings, but wasn’t able to capture the win.
Love will get to compete for the points championship in two weeks as the series wraps up its season at Phoenix on Saturday, November 7.
