Starting Friday night and stretching all the way through the end of the 2020 racing season, Always Race Day will be on the side of a sprint car.

Our website is helping to support current Knoxville Cup 360 Class points leader Carson McCarl on his road to a second-straight season championship at the famed dirt track.

McCarl has earned two wins in the class this season through eight nights of racing.

He is also the youngest driver to ever win a race at Knoxville, collecting a 305 win in his first start at the track in 2011 at 16 years, 1 month old.

“Right now I’m putting that all behind me,” McCarl said. “It’s not a points race this weekend, we’re just focusing on going after that big trophy.”

While the regular version of the annual Knoxville Nationals won’t happen this year, the 2020 360 Nationals kick 0ff on Thursday night at the track.

McCarl will qualify on Friday.

“It definitely sucks having the 410 Nationals canceled, but the 360’s are still on as scheduled so it’s been business as usual around here right now,” McCarl said. “We’re looking forward to it. We’ve had a fast hot rod these last few weeks so hopefully we can keep that going.”

The event is the premier 360 sprint car race in the United States each year.

“I love the 360 Nationals,” Always Race Day Publish Chris Williams said. “It’s one of my favorite events of the year. “He’s going to have our new racing website, Always Race Day, on his car this weekend. I’m so jacked that we are a part of it.”

Williams is a passionate fan of all sorts of motorsports and wanted to support one of the best drivers in the area at Knoxville.

He’ll take to the track in hopes of the trophy this weekend, and ARD will have coverage throughout.

“Make sure everyone hits up AlwaysRaceDay.com,” McCarl said. “It’s got everything from your local dirt track to NASCAR. It’s a really great website, so give them a follow on their social media accounts. I look forward to representing them.”

McCarl can be seen racing his No. 27 car during Friday’s qualifying night and Saturday’s main event day. Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m.
