He did it again.
No matter what car Kyle Larson has hopped into since being suspended from NASCAR, he’s found success.
The latest victory in what has become a long line of them came on Sunday night at the Indiana State Fairgrounds as the California native came from 23rd to take the victory in the crown jewel event.
The win is Larson’s 34th of the calendar year in a list of wins that includes the Chili Bowl, Indiana Midget Week, and a not-Knoxville Nationals W.
Larson started off the day by setting the quick time for the evening, but had to move to the back along with some other teams because they opted to change the right rear tire after qualifying.
Kyle Larson is racing in the USAC Silver Crown race at Indy tonight in a race he last drove in eight years ago.
He qualified first by nearly half a second. Insanity.

It took the driver of the No. 19 just eight laps to crack the top five and shortly thereafter he was up to second.
By lap 25, Larson took to the outside on Tyler Courtney to capture the lead.
CJ Leary would have something to say about that, though, taking the lead after falling to third on the restart from Larson on lap 30.
The two would battle throughout the last 70 laps, each giving chase to one another and never letting the action get too dull.
At the end of the day, though, it was a familiar sight to see that driver standing in victory lane once again.
Rumor has it the next time he competes, he’ll be in a late model, too.
