He’s won everywhere else on dirt this season, and he’s the favorite to do it this weekend, too.

Kyle Larson announced a week ago that him and Paul Silva would be bringing the No. 57 team to Pennsylvania for this weekend’s Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway.

The event is the latest big money race Larson has gone after this season, and he has a pretty good track record going in those, too.

The latest one being The One and Only Sprint Car weekend at Knoxville, which paid a season high $50,000 to win.

This week, though, Port Royal’s Tuscarora 50 will give out $53,000 to the first-place finisher as well as $1,500 to start.

It’s the biggest top prize purse in the country so far in what has been an unprecedented 2020 racing season.

Nonetheless, don’t write off Larson’s competitors this weekend.

Aaron Reutzel is the two-time defending champion of the event and is no stranger to winning with the Ollie’s All Star Circuit of Champions. The current points leader will be a big contender this weekend, too, no doubt.

Not to mention Anthony Macri started out the season with a few strong runs at Port Royal, even running second to Larson during a race there this year. Macri is a young gun, but he’s on the cusp of a breakout race. This could be it.

Of course the normal roster of ASCoC cars will make their appearances as well as the best drivers and cars that Pennsylvania has to offer.

It can all be seen this weekend on FloRacing along with coverage on Always Race Day, as always.
