World of Outlaws drivers hit the track at Bristol on Thursday for a day of practice before the weekend doubleheader of racing starts on Friday.
David Gravel put up the top time in the sprint car series while Chris Madden showed a massive amount of speed with the fenders.
Kyle Larson elected to not practice in the late model on the night, but ran his No. 57 sprint car in all four sessions. Anthony Macri and his crew performed an engine change on the night and ran the motor for a bit after the final group of practice sessions concluded.
According to the DirtVision broadcast of the race, fans can expect a few more cars in both series appearing tomorrow to compete in the pair of $25,000-to-win events over the weekend.
