Kyle Larson had a plethora of restarts next to Carson Macedo during Friday’s World of Outlaws race at Attica Raceway Park.

He felt that he gave a win away on Tuesday night with the tour, when Sheldon Haudenschild got by him on the final restart and took the win at Bridgeport.

Larson got it back at Attica, though, taking his second win of the World of Outlaws season and 26th career victory with the series.

“I definitely let one slip away the other night,” Larson said on the DirtVision broadcast. “It’s always tough to win against the Outlaws. Carson (Macedo) was really good. He’s obviously really aggressive and he’s always good on starts so I was nervous with him on the front row with me. We got some good launches and it’s good to get the win.”

Macedo gave it all he could, but could never get by the No. 57 off the jump. Larson led every lap of the 40-lap race.

“Kyle is so good at what he does,” Macedo said on the broadcast. “He times his restarts different every time to where you can’t really get to him. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy and saw that the one time I tried to throw a flyer at him.”

It was a much-needed, great night for James McFadden and his Roth Motorsports No. 83 team, too.

The Australia native got back on the podium for the first time since he earned two podium spots in three races early in the season.

“(Our team) has been working really hard,” McFadden said. “This whole deal is tough if you don’t put a whole night together. We need a win for Dennis and Theresa and I can’t thank them enough for the opportunity.”

Brad Sweet broke a five-race streak of finishes that were outside the top 5 while Spencer Bayston’s top 10 streak came to the end with a flat tire. David Gravel was battling his car and a spin later on dropped him too far back to come back from.

Jacob Allen impressed on the night, once again, coming home with a P6 finish after starting P19.

The series will return to the track on Saturday for a visit to Sharon Speedway, set to be broadcasted live on DirtVision.
