Ryan Timms pokes at World of Outlaws after Border Battle sweep
Ryan Timms and his team poked some fun at the World of Outlaws following his sweep of the Border Battle weekend

Ryan Timms was unstoppable in a 410 sprint car this weekend between three straight victories and a $10,000 bonus during Jackson Motorplex and Huset’s Speedway’s Border Battle.

The 15-year-old is one of the hottest young prospects in the sport, but won’t be allowed to race with the World of Outlaws until he turns 16.

Timms poked some fun at the series – which utilizes a minimum age rule – in a tweet following his victory.

His birthday comes on August 26 of this year, making the 2nd leg of the Northern tour at River Cities Speedway the first event he’s eligible for, along with the Skagit Nationals the week after.

Timms said on an earlier episode of the ARD Podcast that he plans on making his debut with the series this fall.
