Two nights of action from Knoxville Raceway have wrapped up, with Sam Hafertepe Jr. and Brian Brown making trips to victory lane in each preliminary event for the 32nd 360 Knoxville Nationals.

Saturday marks the feature day of the weekend before the 410’s take over to kick off the start of Nationals week with the Capitani Classic on Sunday.

Lynton Jeffrey and Aaron Reutzel hold the front row starting positions for the race, scheduled at 30 laps with a $15,000-to-win check on the line. Each lap pays $500 to the leader bringing the provisional total to $30,000 if a driver leads all 30 laps.

Clint Garner and Terry McCarl, who have battled all season for the 360 Nationals points championship, will launch from the second row. We caught up with McCarl following Friday night’s action.

Brian Brown and Ayrton Gennetten are slated in row 3, just ahead of Hafertepe Jr. and defending event champion Gio Scelzi.

Thomas Kennedy secured a P11 starting spot, making his third start at Knoxville in the past three seasons.

Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson will start the race 16th.

Knoxville Raceway has pushed the start of hot laps for the action back to 7:45 p.m. CT. The entire race broadcast can be seen on DirtVision.
