David Gravel continues hot start, wins third of first five WoO races

There hasn’t been a driver more dominant to start the 2023 World of Outlaws season than David Gravel, who picked up his third victory on the year at Volusia Speedway Park on Monday.

The Big Game Motorsports No. 2 car drove away from the field during the race, in what was Gravel’s most dominant win of the stretch to start the season.

Gravel took the lead from Jacob Allen coming out of turn 2 on the opening lap and never looked back, earning extensive jumps on three, separate restarts after cautions came out.

Carson Macedo and Allen rounded out the podium spots, while Logan Schuchart’s top-5 streak came to a close.

The series goes away from Volusia Speedway Park after five-straight races there to continue the season and begin consecutive weekend racing for every date through November’s World Finals this Friday.

Port Royal Speedway will host the tours next leg of the Low-E Insulation Spring Showdown with a Friday-Saturday doubleheader this weekend. All of the action can be seen on DirtVision.
