Sprint car veteran Cory Eliason had a number of races with Ridge & Sons Racing late in the 2023 season.
It served as a pseudo-tryout, and precursor, for the plans of running the full High Limit Racing schedule with the team to come to fruition.
High Limit announced Tuesday that the parties had become its latest commitment, brining its series roster up to five confirmed names for the full 2024 national slate.
Eliason will be joined by series co-owner Brad Sweet, with his team-owner Kasey Kahne running the full schedule as well. Zeb Wise will race the schedule with Rudeen Racing, continuing their partnership into 2024. Shark Racing split up its entries, bringing Jacob Allen full-time to race High Limit while Logan Schuchart runs with the World of Outlaws, like he has for years.
Kyle Larson confirmed his participation in the Midweek Money Series for the tour as well.
Like Shark Racing is doing, RSR is splitting its cars up for 2024. Aaron Reutzel is returning to race the full Knoxville Raceway season and again chasing the track championship at the famed half-mile.
There’s expected to be more driver announcements coming for High Limit in the coming days. The series has the resources to take on 14 full-timers in year 1, and Sweet has alluded that they are ‘well on our way to that number.’
Expect more announcements for High Limit’s inaugural national roster in the coming days and weeks.
