The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship format isn’t going away in 2024, but its ‘final four’ will be stretched between a number of races rather than a winner-take-all season-finale at Eldora.

In 2024, Knoxville’s Late Model Nationals will serve as the series’ cutoff race to determine its four championship contenders, before that group points races across a multitude of weekends to close out the year.

The championship round will kickoff with the Jackson 100 at Brownstown, following the tour through its run at Atomic Speedway, the 36th annual Pittsburgher, and the final races ever at East Bay Raceway Park before the season concludes at the Dirt Track World Championship, again being held at Eldora.

Full details are not yet out for the full chase format that the series has implemented.

The season kicks off Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Golden Isles Speedway.
