The Hy-Vee IndyCar race weekend at Iowa Speedway will be around for years to come.

The parties announced Thursday that they had reached an multi-year extension for the race, which was already contracted to run through 2025.

That would mean that the event will be ran through the 2027 season, barring a re-structured contract – stay tuned on that, we may find out more over the weekend.

Iowa Speedway has hosted the race in each of the past two seasons with concert acts like Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Florida Georgia Line and Kenny Chesney among artists playing during the doubleheader weekends.

This weekend’s IndyCar activities kick off with IndyCar practice and Indy NXT qualifying on Friday night, which is open to the public for free throughout the day.

Post Malone, Luke Combs, Eric Church and Kelsea Ballerini will play concerts before and after both races to compliment the racing at the event.
