Part of the top team in World of Outlaws Late Model racing split up this morning, as Chris Madden and Scott Bloomquist Racing have reportedly parted ways.
The news was first reported by Dirtondirt.com this morning. Neither Bloomquist nor Madden has issued any kind of statement.
Through 18 starts during the 2020 season, so far, Madden had earned one win, five top 5 finishes, and 11 top 10 results overall.
He sat in fourth place in the World of Outlaws standings, 214 points behind leader Brandon Sheppard and 68 points back from his teammate Ricky Weiss.
This news comes just two days before the Outlaws will compete in a unique combination event with the sanctioning body’s sprint car tour at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
