There have been questions surrounding Kyle Larson’s racing career ever since April earlier this year.

Larson had an incident that took him out of his ride at Chip Ganassi Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series and forced him to the dirt for the entirety of the summer, post-COVID shutdowns of course.

Over that time he won nearly half of the races he started in, won in a winged sprint car, a USAC champ car, a USAC Midget, and even a late model.

In 2021, though, Larson is coming back to the top tier of the asphalt ranks.

Yung Money will be behind the wheel of the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.

The move was announced today by Hendrick Motorsports as a multi-year deal for the well heralded driver.

This means that the No. 88 at HMS is no more with Alex Bowman headed to the No. 48 for the team next season.

The NASCAR Cup Series hopes to run the remainder of its race at Texas Motor Speedway today at 2:00 p.m. CT on NBCSN.
