With all the heavy hitters entered in the Wild West Shootout, it was Buddy Kofoid that took the win in the first of three nights of competition.
The young, up-and-comer took night 1 of the event at Ariz0na Speedway against likes of Donny Schatz, Aaron Reutzel and the Scelzi brothers.
The win is impressive for Kofoid.
No matter what anyone else in the field did, the lead was never in question.
Kofoid took off from the night of the green flag.
Schatz had a chance to come through the pack, however never got close to making a pass for the lead.
The Wild Wing Shootout will continue on Saturday night from Arizona Speedway. Hot laps will begin at 4:00 p.m. CT on FloRacing.
