Jacob Allen took the lead from Brad Sweet coming around turn 4 with 19 laps to go in the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Texas Two Step finale on Saturday.

It looked like the No. 1A was in prime position to win, with the track starting to take rubber as the night went on. It would have made a potential win a little bit easier for Allen.

Instead, Allen caught the dirt the wrong way in turns one and two, flipping over and surrendering the lead to Brad Sweet.

The current World of Outlaws Points leader wouldn’t be challenged by anyone else the entire race.

Sweet drove his No. 49 to the win, leading the rest of the laps, and extending his series points lead over Logan Schuchart to 24 points.

Brent Marks took the runner-up spot from Eliason after the 26 sat on the pole in the race, making it his best finish of the season.

David Gravel and Friday’s winner Sheldon Haudenschild rounded out the top five.
