As one of the bigger races on the annual World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series calendar, the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup has evaded Brad Sweet during its 30-year history.

That is, until Tuesday night.

The series points leader and two-time defending World of Outlaws champion went to victory lane in a showing of why he’s the favorite to three-peat a title this season.

The victory is Sweet’s 14th on the season, twice as many as the next highest win scorer in Carson Macedo, who has seven.

Pennsylvania’s Sye Lynch started the race on the pole, but that was about the most success the Pennsylvania Posse had all evening long.

The World of Outlaws won yet another matchup in the rivalry, also taking the top seven finishing positions on the night.

There wasn’t much movement in the points standings, as all seven of those drivers are currently in the top eight in the series points standings.

The World of Outlaws will return to the track for a pair of dates at Williams Grove on Friday and Saturday for the Summer Nationals, as the Month of Money continues. As always, the races can be seen live on DirtVision.com.
