Daniel Hemric will serve as the substitute driver for 23XI Racing in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series championship race at Phoenix Raceway.
NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Ty Gibbs was originally scheduled to drive the car in the race, but will not be racing due to a family emergency.
The race is scheduled to begin at 2:37 p.m. CT on NBC.
