Kevin Harvick to run Grave Digger paint scheme at Nashville

Monster Jam and NASCAR.

Two things this writer grew up on – are coming together in a long overdue mashup this weekend at the Nashville Superspeedway.

Stewart-Haas Racing announced publicly on Wednesday that Monster Jam brand Grave Digger would be on the side of the SHR No. 4 car piloted by Kevin Harvick on Sunday.

They attributed the idea to a Father’s Day gift for Kevin from his son, Keelan.

Stewart-Haas hyped the announcement all week, doing things like teasing the iconic red lights stationed on the front end of the iconic Grave Digger truck.

More photos of the car can be seen below, featuring the ghost that dons the sides of the truck and the phrase “Bad to the Bone” written across the back.

Sunday’s race at Nashville is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. CT on NBCSN – following the conclusion of the IndyCar race.
