The TV numbers are in and for the third straight week, NASCAR’s Cup Series race was the most-watched sporting event of the weekend.

Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway drew a 2.71 rating on television with 4.544 million viewers – up from last year’s third race at Homestead that earned a 2.5 rating with 4.24 million viewers.

The race beat out Saturday’s Duke-UNC basketball game and the weekend’s Lakers-Warriors game to sit on top of the weekend charts once again.
