Port Royal Speedway plays host to the biggest race on the All Star Circuit of Champions tour schedule, now paying $60,000 to win thanks to a last-minute bonus from Jim and Sandy Kline.
Opening night went to a Pennsylvania native in Anthony Macri, a guy who’s not been shy to success at what is called the Speed Palace.
Danny Dietrich took the second spot on the podium along with Logan Wagner who rounded it out on the afternoon.
The top two drivers sped away from the rest of the field while Wagner made the charge up through the race.
The series returns to the track on Friday for the second night of the weekend, set to begin on FloRacing at 5:00 p.m. CT.
