It took almost two hours to get the track worked in right and there were three yellow flags thrown in the first 10 laps, but Bobby Pierce still managed to take a win on the Hell Tour.
Despite all of the nuances of the night, Pierce standing on top of his No. 32 car with a checkered flag remained the capstone of the evening.
The three-time champion, who is chasing his fourth Hell Tour title, committed to running the rest of the Hell Tour races rather than chasing a big check in Greenwood.
On Sunday, he earned his 11th win of the summer, tying his career best mark of the season.
Pierce won 11 races during his 2016 campaign on the Hell Tour and wants to chase the 15-win record as the season closes out.
The series has seven races left in the year, with one coming on Monday before a two-week long break to set up a six-race chase for the championship. Catch all of the action on DirtVision.
