Bobby Pierce didn’t know if he was even going to race the full Hell Tour schedule during the 2021 season. In fact, he knew going in that he would be missing at least five of the 36 scheduled events during the summer.

However, after seeing major successes early on, Pierce was pushed to run as many races as possible and compete to win his fourth career series championship.

After winning on Wednesday night in the tour’s debut at Circle City, the Smooth Operator is on his way.

Pierce, leading every lap of the feature race after starting on the pole, won his eighth race of the season with the series.

Through 17 events, that stands as the series’ best.

Joe Godsey picked up his best finish of the season taking second over Spencer Hughes, who rounded out the podium.

Two of Pierce’s biggest threats for the title include Tanner English and Ashton Winger, who both picked up top six finishes.

The DIRTCar Summer Nationals Hell Tour returns to the track for race No. 18 of the now scheduled 31 on Thursday night as they head to Thunderbird Raceway in Muskegon, Michigan. Like always, the action can be seen live on DirtVision.com.
