Brandon Sheppard is becoming Mr. World of Outlaws.

By winning the 2021 World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship, the ‘Rocket Shepp’ tied Josh Richards as the only driver in series history to capture four championships with the tour.

With this championship, as well, Sheppard becomes the first driver in series history to win three titles in a row. It had never been done before.

Sheppard got his first championship in 2017, but was topped by Mike Marlar in the ensuing year. Since then, he hasn’t lost a single title race.

The 2021 season for the driver of the Rocket 1 house car ends his season with eight wins, as well as 43 top 10 finishes in 48 starts.

As the chassis competition heats up on the late model scene, there’s no telling what lies ahead.

The only certain is that Sheppard will be a contender, and will look to defend his title once again in 2022.

Always Race Day congratulates Brandon Sheppard on winning the 2021 World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship.
