The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series announced that it will move two races from its schedule on Thursday afternoon, freeing up its full-time roster of drivers on the weekend of April 9.

The tour was scheduled to visit 411 Motor Speedway as well as the Talladega Short Track, but have postponed the races to Friday, May 14 (411) and Saturday, May 15 (Talladega).

Batavia, OH (February 19, 2021) – Originally scheduled for April 9th and 10th, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and track officials at both 411 Motor Speedway and Talladega Short Track have decided to reschedule due to conflicting scheduling in the area. The series will now visit 411 on May 14th and Talladega on May 15th, 2021.

Teams will be competing for $12,000-to-win during Tennessee’s Action Track 50 at 411, and $15,000-to-win at the E-Z-GO 50 at Talladega. The reigning Series champion, Jimmy Owens extended his points lead last year during these two races, after leading all 50 laps in both events.

This allows the series’ roster to race a highly anticipated World of Outlaws Late Model weekend as the sanctioning body holds control over the invitation-only weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The tour will run a practice night at Bristol on April 8 and a pair of race nights on April 9 and 10.

Drivers, like Brandon Overton, have already been being announced through the World of Outlaws’ social media platforms.
