Sprint car up-and-comer and 18-year old pilot Brenham Crouch will be taking his talents to a national level in 2024, committing to race the full High Limit Racing series schedule during the year.
The young driver will be behind the wheel of his family-owned Crouch Motorsports car, becoming the sixth announced driver to the tour’s full-time roster.
“We had really good momentum all year long, even when we were still learning,” Crouch said in a press release. “We kept building on that, and Austin and I kept learning each other, and the feedback kept getting better. We thought it would be cool to run with High Limit, and we had the opportunity with my Dad and everybody helping out. I feel like we are carrying some momentum from last year after bouncing around between the Outlaws, High Limit, and even the POWRi stuff we did. We are looking to make the move to the next level, and I feel like that is what fits us best now.”
Crouch brought home four A-Main finishes in 10 World of Outlaws starts in 2023 and added a P12 finish at High Limit’s race at Lincoln Park during the year.
He will join Kasey Kahne Racing’s Brad Sweet and Kasey Kahne, Shark Racing’s Jacob Allen, Rudeen Racing’s Zeb Wise, and Ridge & Sons Racing’s Cory Eliason on the tour full-time in 2024.
“Not only do you get to race with really good guys every night, the money is there as well,” Crouch said in the release. “The series is doing really good things for the sport. I feel like it’s going to be a really good experience and will make us better at big-purse shows. Those big purses are going to bring more guys with experience, and that’s just going to make us propel ourselves forward.”
Sweet, a co-owner of the series, told Speed Sport that the tour has the resources to take on up to 14 full-time teams, and that they are “well on our way to that number.”
Announcements will continue to trickle in in the coming days, as teams set allegiances and begin to prepare for the start of the High Limit season at East Bay Raceway Park on Monday, February 12, 2024.
