Another star from a different tour is giving late models a try.

One night after sprint car standout Tyler Courtney made his debut in a super late model, NASCAR’s Chase Briscoe is set to do the same.

The Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour is heading to Brownstown Speedway Wednesday for the series’ second race of the year. Briscoe is bringing his No. 14 car.

It’s part of the driver’s – who is no novice to the dirt game, competing regularly in the Chili Bowl Nationals as well as other select series at times – Chase’n Dirt Tour, which is being supported by Mahindra Tractors.

Briscoe plans on running a 410 sprint car as well as a non-wing sprint car, the super late model that he will race on Wednesday, a midget as well as a micro sprint.

The NASCAR Cup Series driver already has a win to his name in the series this year, and also took the checkered flag at the USCS 360 sprint car race at Talladega Short Track over the weekend.

Briscoe confirmed other dirt dates as well in a later tweet, racing the late model with Race XR at Charlotte May 11-12, the midget with XOS at Millbridge May 23-24 and more:

For fans wanting to tune into the action, they can see the entire night of racing live on FloRacing beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT.
