Chase Elliott is headed back to the dirt.

For the third time this year – already – the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion is headed to race in a dirt track car.

The Georgia native is putting his name in to run the Bristol Dirt Nationals in the Super Late Model class on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20.

He’ll have support from A_SHOC Energy in a late model that resembles the brand’s NASCAR Cup Series scheme at Bristol.

Elliott previously this year ran the Chili Bowl Nationals and had some action on the USAC Midget tour as he ventures to get better on the dirt track.

He’ll be joined by other asphalt stars such as Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon, Corey LaJoie and Joey Logano (Modifieds).

The event can be streamed live through racexr.com.
