The track at Sharon Speedway didn’t turn out like race fans wanted it to, but Danny Dietrich prevailed in a tire conservation contest on Night 4 of Ohio Speedweek at Sharon on Tuesday night.

The Pennsylvania driver got out front and stuck his car on the bottom lane to capture the win, beating out names like Tyler Courtney, Justin Peck, and recent NASCAR All-Star winner Kyle Larson.

Dietrich lead throughout the race, and didn’t even have to old off Larson to be one of the only drivers on dirt in the country to beat him in a race.

The win also gave the driver of the No. 48 the Ohio Speedweek points lead, putting him six spots ahead of Courtney, who is 12 points back.

Ohio Speedweek continues on Wednesday as the tour heads to Waynesfield for Night 5 of the eight-race mini-tour. As always, all of the action can be seen live on FloRacing.com.
