In the final World of Outlaws event ever at I-80 Speedway, it was David Gravel climbing to the top of his race car.
In classic Gravel fashion, the No. 2 sped to a quick time before winning his heat race and eventually earning the A-Main win.
The track is up for sale and expected to be bought by a scrap yard company.
With the win, Gravel closes his points gap to Brad Sweet to 56 points going into Saturday’s race at Lake Ozark Speedway in Kansas City.
