Devin Moran highlighted the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season opener while national tour invaders – from three different walks of life – swept the podium during night one of the Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway.
Kyle Larson was going for back-to-back season opening wins, but should be around the series in the coming days before NASCAR’s tour starts up in a week. Defending World of Outlaws champion Brandon Sheppard took home the runner-up spot.
Tyler Erb was the highest finishing series regular, taking P4 over defending LOLMDS champ Tim McCreadie.
The series will return to the track for two more nights of racing on Friday and Saturday night before heading to Ocala for a pair of race days there. Fans unable to make it to the track can view the series on MAVTV+.
