Wednesday night, after a delay that lasted months comes to a close, the best dirt late model drivers on the planet will finish the 28th running of the Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway.
The race, which began on June 11, ran the opening 14 laps before precipitation forced a rain delay that would be concluded on Wednesday of World 100 week.
That will finish tonight, with the final 86 laps being ran as the main event this evening.
Prior to the finish of the 28th dream, Eldora is hosting three ‘Chasing the Dream’ feature races, made up of random groups of cars racing in the World 100 that didn’t qualify for the Dream in June.
The only qualifying requirement for these Chasing the Dream races is that the drivers involved can not have won a main event at Eldora Speedway in their careers.
All of the action is slated to begin with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. CT and the first of the three Chasing the Dream races kicking things off at 6:30 p.m. FloRacing will broadcast the entirety of the event and ensuing three days of the 52nd World 100.
