Gavin Miller was leading during Indiana Midget week action early on in the mini-series, but wrecked out of the race while running there.
On Friday, he avenged his loss and captured a USAC Midget victory, it being the first of his career.
Miller, a 16-year old, came into the race in first place for the tour’s IMW Prosource Passing Points standings with his Keith Kunz Motorsports team.
He passed Jade Avedisian late in the race to earn his trip to victory lane.
Indiana Midget Week continues Saturday with round 6 set to be held at Lawrenceburg Speedway. As always, all of the action can be seen live on FloRacing.
