The 2023 World of Outlaws rookie of the year is returning to the series full-time in 2024, becoming the fourth driver to do so officially.

Scelzi joins series runner-up David Gravel, Brock Zearfoss, and Bill Rose on the list of drivers that have confirmed their full-time status thus far.

The California native set a rookie record with Iowa’s KCP Racing by finishing fourth in the 2023 season, with a win, 18 top 5’s and 50 top 10’s.

KCP Racing became the first team to field multiple Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award winners in its history and Scelzi became the youngest to ever win the award at the age of 21.
