Kasey Kahne Racing is moving back to two cars – at least when it comes to running full-time with the World of Outlaws tour.

For the 2021 season, James McFadden is stepping back into the car that he couldn’t get to due to COVID precautions making travel difficult between his home country of Australia and the United States.

Kasey Kahne kept the seat warm in the No. 9 for a majority of the 2020 season and even raced a majority of the weekly Knoxville shows that got to be ran.

He’s now putting the car back in McFadden’s hands with a major schedule and challenge in the World of Outlaws tour.

McFadden has ran with the Outlaws in prior seasons, owning two wins to his name with the series including last season at Lake Ozark Speedway.

Kahne will start in the seat in Volusia due to travel restrictions making McFadden’s trip to the States difficult, but will look to take over the car following the DIRTCar Nationals or potentially another weekend or two down the road.

The Australia native will be throwing his hat in with three other rookies as well, competing against Aaron Reutzel, Brock Zearfoss, and Parker Price-Miller.

The action and his season kick off this week, as the series opens its slate with the DIRTCar Nationals on Friday night. All of the World of Outlaws action this season can be seen on DirtVision.com.
