Kyle Larson rolled into Ohio with a pair of race cars ready to rip in an ASCoC – Lucas Dirt combination event at Ohio’s Atomic Speedway.

He walked away from the first race with a dominant win.

Larson shared the front row of the starting lineup with back-to-back and defending series champion Tyler Courtney, but was able to stay in front of him despite a green-white-checkered finish.

“It means a lot,” Larson said on the FloRacing broadcast. “I always love coming here to Atomic. It’s always elbows up all night long… any time you have Sunshine with you, you’ve got to run the top.”

“It was fun, but still got 50 laps to run in the late model and we’ll see if we can drive to the front,” Larson said.

The series returns to the schedule next week to take on Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois. As always, all of the action can be seen on FloRacing.
