When NASCAR races at Bristol Dirt in April, race fans will have some dirt late model racing to watch in the days leading up.

FloRacing and Kyle Larson announced Friday that the pair will team up to host the ‘Kyle Larson presents, FloRacing Late Model Challenge Powered by Tezos on Thursday, April 14.

The event will kick off the race weekend at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. with the Cup Series race set to take the green Sunday night, April 17.

“This is pretty cool. I’m excited to partner with FloRacing and Volunteer Speedway on this event,” Larson said in a press release. “I hope we can get a few NASCAR guys to participate in the event for some extra preparation leading into the Bristol dirt race.”

FloRacing will be the exclusive broadcast partner for the race, with the broadcast slated for 5:30 p.m. CT.

With no longer having a ‘Prelude to the Dream’ at Eldora, this event could turn into something similar, with the potential of a few NASCAR drivers to run the race.

“Kyle Larson is widely recognized as one of the best drivers in the world and we are excited to collaborate with him on this race,” FloSports Vice President of Motorsports, Michael Rigsby said in the release. “We’re building an awesome event that we hope fans will love. This is going to be an incredible weekend of racing in Tennessee and FloRacing will be there to bring all the action to fans tuning in around the world.”

The FloRacing Night in America Series is also slated to begin its year two days before the race, kicking things off at Eldora on Tuesday, April 12.
