Kyle Larson put on a clinic at Port Royal Speedway Wednesday collecting yet another win at the track they call the Speed Palace.
Larson lead all 30 laps and crossed the line three seconds ahead of the rest of the field in the 30-lap A-Main, winning $20,000 in the World of Outlaws show.
“It seemed like Danny (Dietrich) was coming,” Larson said on the DirtVision broadcast. “I’ve seen him roll the inside wall really good here. I was just kind of worried about Danny unless I saw if the 39 got to second on the scoreboard. Hats off to Paul Silva and this whole team. It’s great to be part-timers and win World of Outlaws races.”
The victory is Larson’s fourth World of Outlaws win of the season and sits as the 28th of his career.
It also moves Larson into a tie for 22nd with Kerry Madsen on the all-time World of Outlaws wins list.
Behind Larson was Pennsylvania’s Danny Dietrich and Anthony Macri, rounding out podium spots, while Kings Royal winner Brent Marks mustered a fourth-place finish in the A-Main after missing out on the dash.
The World of Outlaws will return to the track on Friday for the Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals weekend at Williams Grove Speedway. Fans unable to make it to the race can catch the broadcast live on DirtVision, along with every World of Outlaws event.
