Kyle Larson is used to running the annual Chili Bowl Nationals every year in Tulsa, Okla. but motorsports jack of all trades announced he’d be heading East with late models this year, once again.

Larson has officially entered the World of Outlaws Late Model Series’ Sunshine Nationals, scheduled for three race days at Volusia Speedway Park beginning this Thursday.

The Elk Grove, Calif. native raced the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season opening race a year ago, winning and holding the points lead for a short period of time.

It promises to be a deep field with a plethora of racing for super late models in the Southeast over the course of the next month. Drivers from all of the top tours are expected to be in attendance.

Fans can tune into all of the action live for the weekend’s Sunshine Nationals on DirtVision.com. Hot laps are expected to get rolling around 5:00 p.m. CT.
