Max Blair did it again at Bloomsburg.
The Pennsylvania native picked up his second win of the 2022 World of Outlaws Late Model Series season and trimmed four points away from Dennis Erb Jr., who holds the lead in the series.
“Being familiar with this place when no one else really was – that was big,” Blair said on DirtVision. “I’m 3-for-3 at Bloomsburg and that’s where I’m at now. That was pretty good.”
Unfortunately for Blair, Erb Jr. finished the race in second, so four points was all he could gain on the veteran as he vies for a series title with the national tour.
Josh Richards rounded out the podium in the race, but would not have had it not been for Marshalltown, Iowa’s Ryan Gustin pulling off the track.
The World of Outlaws’ full-timer drove 15 hours to race again with the tour after Wednesday’s late model race at his home track and looked to be having a good night. That is until Gustin slipped off the pace with five laps to go, bringing out the caution.
The series returns to the track on Friday for the second of three nights of action in PA. For fans that can’t make it to the track, all of the action can be seen on DirtVision.
