One of dirt racing’s biggest fan favorites is going full-time in a super late model in 2023.
Five-time Hell Tour modified champion Nick Hoffman will drive a Longhorn Chassis owned by Tye Twarog in the World of Outlaws CASE Late Model Series.
“I feel like it’s a long time coming,” Hoffman said in a release. “I’ve had a lot of great opportunities in the past. But never anything like this to go full-time tour racing. Being able to run 60 races will for sure further my Late Model career as far as you only get better with as many nights as you run. So, there’s no better way than to sign on to the tour.”
The car was driven by Devin Moran in 2022. He’s departing to Double Down Motorsports this season.
Hoffman has made a name for himself on the Hell Tour, dominating on a nightly basis and racing in a multitude of late model rides over the season when he wasn’t in the modified:
“I’ve gotten to the point in my modified career that I’ve won everything I’ve wanted to win,” Hoffman said in a release. “This is the next step for me to further my racing career.”
Hoffman plans on racing some modified events – specifically in during his time in Volusia in the early portion of the season, however his main focus will be on the late model.
The 2023 World of Outlaws season kicks off with the Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park on January 18.
