After originally announcing that Shane Stewart would be piloting the No. 41 car this weekend as a teammate to Parker Price-Miller, the young gun took to Twitter to announce a different change.

Price-Miller will be heading to the Indy Race Parts No. 71 car for the remainder of the 2020 season, while Jason Johnson Racing chases an Owner’s Points championship with Stewart and series regular David Gravel.

There’s no word as to why Price-Miller took to the 71 team, or if his future with Jason Johnson Racing is changing, although this does raise a lot of questions.

If anything, the move to Stewart in the 41 car (while Gravel goes truck racing at Kansas) shows how much the JJR camp wants to win this title.

Stewart is a crafty veteran that has driven seemingly every available car this year and performed above his equipment.

It’s under the impression that Stewart will return to the 71 for the rest of the season following this weekend, and Gravel will return for the final three races of the tour after his weekend away.
