Tyler Courtney has spent the better part of the past month away from the Clauson-Marshall Racing No. 7BC seat due to a back injury and will be returning this weekend with the team.
We caught up with him during Saturday’s Knoxville Nationals program to get his comments on being away from the car and not being able to compete:
The Indiana native will get thrown right back into the fire with the team, which is in the hunt to repeat as the ASCoC owners points champion – the portion of the series title that pays out the money to teams.
Courtney’s return stint starts with three-straight nights of racing at Outlaw Speedway in New York, Utica-Rome Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway.
