Tyler Courtney and Clauson Marshall Racing had big endeavors to chase during the pair’s first season racing a winged sprint car full-time.

Even they, though, might have outperformed their expectations.

This weekend, they wrapped up the 2021 All Star Circuit of Champions series title – winning the rookie of the year award at the same time.

The season, riddled with victories, was highlighted by Courtney’s upset win at the Kings Royal at Eldora in July.

But consistency was the name of the game for the team during their run to the championship.

Through 48 features, Courtney and Co. delivered 37 Top 10 finishes along with 25 runs inside the top 5.

They ended the year with eight wins and a near 300-point separation between themselves and No. 2 in the ASCoC points standings.

We’ll let the World of Outlaws rumors sleep for a bit, because Courtney and CMR will celebrate this one for a minute.

Congratulations to Tyler Courtney and Clauson Marshall Racing on their 2021 championship season.
