The World of Outlaws weekend started with a small group of fans being frustrated with DirtVision’s pricing model for the USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway.
Well, after what happened during the 100-lap main event on Saturday, the fans that paid the PPV price probably got their money worth.
That was all thanks to Tyler Erb, though.
During the back half of the race, Erb was bumped in the rear by Bobby Pierce, causing him to spin out.
Erb, not at all pleased with this, spun out Pierce under caution and then drove backwards around the track to stop in front of Pierce’s car.

Erb told FloRacing in an interview following the race that he was trying to get Pierce to get out of the car so the two could settle their differences. Pierce didn’t oblige, though.
Erb was disqualified, if it wasn’t obvious, but the World of Outlaws also disqualified Pierce due to a crew member who went onto the race track to direct Erb. The crew member was Pierce’s father.
Somewhere in the whole mess of things, Brandon Overton came out as the winner, cashing in on a $50,000 check after leading the final 56 laps.
There has not yet been a word from the World of Outlaws on future disciplinary actions that may or may not be taken against Erb.
