The 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway got kicked off on Thursday night as Austin McCarl brought home the win.

I go through the entry list for Friday night’s entry list which is filled to the brim with big names.

James McFadden

Maybe the most intriguing entry in the entirety of the 2020 360 Nationals field, McFadden will be joining the entry list for his first sprint car race of the year in the United States. The Australian, racing for Kasey Kahne Racing, has watched his car from overseas run under the guidance of his boss, Kasey. However they made it happen, McFadden will be back in Knoxville this weekend to defend his title.

Terry McCarl

As a long standing name in the Knoxville Raceway history books, McCarl will look to win his sixth 360 Nationals championship this weekend. He earned his first 360 Nationals win way back in 1996 while driving for Brad Gray.

Carson McCarl

Carson McCarl has been slinging it so far this season and goes into the weekend holding the 360 class points standings lead. McCarl has two wins at the track in eight 360 starts and will look to complete the McCarl sweep after his brother, Austin, won on Thursday. He’ll also have a bit of Always Race Day signage on the side of his car.

Clint Garner

The 2017 360 Nationals champion is back once again to shoot for another title. Garner hasn’t made a trip to victory lane yet this season, and with him it’s less of a drought and more, “He’s due to win soon.”

Brian Brown

Brown is historically, over the past decade, known as one of the hometown favorites to win any time he races at Knoxville Raceway. He backed it up in 2014 when he won his lone 360 Nationals championship and will look for another one this weekend.

Lynton Jeffrey

A week ago in the 360 show at Knoxville, it looked like Tim Shaffer was going to blow the field away in his Tony Stewart Racing No. 14 car, but the driver to stand in his way was Jeffrey. He made the trip to victory lane, beating Shaffer, and holding off the rest of the field to grab the win. If there’s anyone to take when the field gets racing, Jeffrey is a solid pick.

Joey Saldana

Saldana participated in his last full-time season on a national tour two years ago and is back racing at Knoxville for the first time since then. Nicknamed the Brownsburg Bullet, Saldana has driven a plethora of fast race cars during his career. It’ll be great to see him compete again.

Brooke Tatnell

The Australian came into the 2020 season without a ride after his plans in the No. 55 car fell through before the start of the year, but Tatnell is making the most of a different situation. He’s been as fast as anyone this year, but is still looking for his first win of the season.

McKenna Haase

Haase is one of the premier female drivers in winged sprint car racing, especially at Knoxville Raceway. She was in a 410 car for the first time, this season and has battled a neck injury the past few weeks. She’ll look to be a contender this weekend as long as it doesn’t give her any more issues.

Scott Bogucki

Bogucki has been one of the heavy hitters in the American Sprint Car Series – the premier 360 tour in the United States – this season and will look to continue his streak of positive finishes tonight.

Anthony Macri

Anthony Macri got himself off to a hot start this year and made the rest of the field at Port Royal Speedway in Pennsylvania look dismal compared to himself. He’s one of the hottest up and coming drivers in sprint car racing and will take to the 360 Nationals at Knoxville this weekend.

Hot laps for Night 2 of the 360 Nationals are scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m.
