NASCAR fans watched an Xfinity Series race on a road course Saturday, and saw a familiar face make the trip to victory lane.
AJ Allmendinger took home the victory on the F1-style road course in Texas, earning his first win of the 2022 season in commanding fashion after a late-race restart.

The win is Allmendinger’s 11th career victory in the tour and comes a season after his career-best five victories in 2021. He crossed the line over three seconds in front of the runner-up Austin Hill.
The series will return to the track next weekend at Richmond, racing on April 2 at 12:30 p.m. CT on Fox Sports 1.
