After being injured in an accident during the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series opening weekend of action, Kasey Kahne has confirmed that he will hop back into a race car on Wednesday night.
The former NASCAR star and owner of series champion Kasey Kahne Racing will pilot his No. 9 once again on the World of Outlaws tour as he intended to race full-time to start the season.
KKR confirmed the news in a social media post:

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is scheduled to race at Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday night for the annual Gettysburg Clash before heading to Williams Grove Speedway this weekend.
For fans interested in tuning in, the racing action will be streamed live on DirtVision and hot laps for Gettysburg Clash will begin at 5:00 p.m. CT.
